Getting started
From sign-up to a managed estate

Create
Open an account and deploy the group's controller. It is built and secured automatically.

Connect
Link your existing estate. You sign in to your current platform yourself, in your own browser.

Import
Your WLANs, AP groups and devices are prepared on the new controller and checked.

Pick a property, review the scope and switch it. Repeat when you're ready.
Will guests notice the change?
Switching is a planned change: access points reconnect to their new controller as part of the move, and behaviour can vary by model and firmware. That is why CloudWLC lets you choose which devices switch and when. A sensible approach is one property at a time, during a quiet period.
We use a third party to look after our Wi-Fi. Can they run this for us?
Yes. Your installer or MSP can manage the migration and the controller, either inside your CloudWLC account or from their own.
Do guest-facing features carry over?
CloudWLC imports supported WLANs, groups and related configuration, and the portal lists anything that needs your attention before you switch. If a specific guest-access feature matters to you, talk to us and we'll check it against your estate first.
