They are different controllers with different hosting needs, so each has its own plans. One CloudWLC account can hold both, each controller on the plan that fits it.

A subscription for each hosted controller. It covers the dedicated controller itself, its hosting, its address and HTTPS certificate, the managed service around it, and the migration tooling in the CloudWLC portal and Chrome extension.

No. A controller manages multiple sites, so a hotel group or a multi-branch business normally runs on one. You add another controller only when you want geographic separation, more scale, a different maintenance schedule or stronger isolation.

Each plan includes a number of managed devices per controller: access points, plus any switches and gateways that controller manages. Allowances are soft limits. We never stop you adopting a device: if a controller goes over its allowance we let you know, and if it is still over after 14 days it moves to the next plan at your next renewal.

Yes, and annual billing gives you two months free: you pay for ten months and get twelve. Choose monthly or annual when you deploy a controller, and change it later from the subscription page in your account.

Use the volume calculator on this page. Above the largest plan, pricing is per device and graduated: the rate falls in bands as the estate grows, so there is never a jump at a threshold. One subscription covers the whole estate, across as many dedicated controllers as it needs, and you can sign up for it yourself like any other plan. If you have a budget in mind, there is a box for it on the sign-up form.

Yes. If CloudWLC isn't right for you, tell us within 30 days of deploying your first controller and we will refund it in full. There is no free trial, because every controller is a real, dedicated server built for you.

Yes. Each controller carries its own plan, and the discount is applied automatically: 10% on every controller from your third, and 20% on every controller from your tenth.

Every controller is backed up automatically. How long backups are kept depends on the plan: from 7 days on the entry UniFi plan to 90 days on the Scale and Volume plans.

Every plan includes support. On the entry UniFi plan, support is by email and is handled by our AI assistant, which is how we keep that plan at its price. Larger plans add chat and priority handling, and Volume customers get the highest-priority queue.

No. For Cambium estates the guided migration — the Chrome extension, collection, import, verification and switch — is part of the product on every plan, and UniFi estates get step-by-step guidance for moving their sites. If you would rather have our engineers run the move with you, assisted migration is £495 for up to 200 devices and £995 for up to 600, and is included at no charge with annual billing on Cambium Plus and Scale.

You keep your existing compatible access points. CloudWLC's subscription covers the hosted controller service; it does not include hardware, and any software entitlements your equipment vendor requires for specific features remain subject to that vendor's terms.
